Ladies, (and the few men who might wander onto my page), this blog is for actual women. You might be wondering what is the difference between actual women, normal women and real women. Normal women are status quo. If you are okay with that then you don't need to read any further. Real women can be fake, after all counterfeit money is real, but I wouldn't rely on it to pay the bills. Actual women are women who act, who work to attain their full potential.

I truly believe we are made up of layers. I am not referring to the physiology of skin, muscle and bone, nor to the mid-life bulges that many of us are struggling to hide. The layers of an actual women encompass how we see ourselves, how others see us and how God sees us. Actual women regard each of these layers as important and not necessarily independent of each of the other layers. Actual women care about how they look, how they influence others and how they can honor God. Together, we will play with fashion, talk about family and friendships and contemplate our faith.

Pull up a chair, take off your shoes, put on your comfy robe and grab your mug as we journey into the layers of you.
